November News

I just realized that I created this website a little over a year ago. So much has happened in that time and I feel so lucky and blessed when I think about all of the amazing opportunities I’ve had this past year, and also when I think about all of the wonderful support I’ve continuously had from family, friends and even random people on the internet! Thank you all!

November has been a really busy month so far. Lots of auditions and callbacks and I’ve already filmed an industrial and a PSA. I’m in a short film this Friday where I will be doing classical Indian dance (Bharatanatyam to be exact). I’m really excited to see how my dancing looks when it is professionally shot. This will be the first time in almost two years that I’ve performed in full costume, hair and makeup, and I can’t wait! The film is called Divintervention and it’s about a man who becomes Jewish, Buddhist, Muslim and Catholic all at the time time. If I’m able to get some stills while on set I will be sure to post them here.

I’ve been in talks with a friend of mine to play a really great character in a short film he has written that is slated to start shooting in December. I always love being able to play super funny and sarcastic characters and that is exactly what this part is!

My dance classes at Salsa Mia have been going really well and are a ton of fun to boot! Everyone at Salsa Mia is extremely dedicated and talented and there are so many incredible dance, cardio dance, fitness and yoga classes to choose from! There truly is something for everyone. Remember, your first class is FREE, so what are you waiting for?!?! My next Bollywood and Bharatanatyam class will be tomorrow night at 8pm. Sign up HERE.

I also just volunteered to model in another friend’s fashion show for RAW Natural Born Artists. It sounds like such an awesome event and I am thrilled that my friend is choosing models of all different shapes, sizes and ethnicities for her particular runway show. Check out her page HERE.

I have a very big audition for the lead in a feature film tomorrow and I have really important meetings tomorrow and Thursday. So, please, keep those fingers and toes crossed for me!
