Sundance 2019

This year, I had the amazing opportunity to attend the 2019 Sundance Film Festival with my Co-Founder of Team Rebelution Films, Poonam Basu, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! Many thanks to her manager Jacob Gallagher of E85 Entertainment for letting me be her plus one!

We saw so many wonderful films (my favorites included the short Brotherhood–from Canada/Tunisia/Qatar/Sweden, the feature narratives Photograph–from India and I Am Mother–from Australia, and the documentary Moonlight Sonata: Deafness In Three Movements–from the US).

We had our first official company interview with filmmaker Kristin Teache (the podcast should be coming out soon, I will be sure to post it here when it does!).

And we met the most lovely people at a number of different events put on by such incredible organizations as Women In Film-LA, Women In Media, NYU Tisch etc.

We also made sure to stay very warm as it got a bit chilly in Park City, UT!

We made lasting friendships and professional connections and I am so excited to start working with the talented people we had the pleasure of meeting. I’m also already looking forward to Sundance 2020! Go Team Rebelution!!!
